DJ Skills #
DJ-focused skills for AI coding assistants. Each skill lives in its own sub-directory under skills/ and covers a specific DJ workflow or piece of DJ software.
Requirements #
The Mixxx skills here talk to Mixxx over MCP, which upstream Mixxx does not expose. You need the MCP-enabled fork: tsirysndr/mixxx.
Installation #
skills.sh #
npx skills add tsirysndr/dj-skills
See skills.sh for more info.
Claude Code #
Copy a skill directory into your skills folder:
# project-level
cp -r skills/continuous-mixxx-dj .claude/skills/
# or user-level
cp -r skills/continuous-mixxx-dj ~/.claude/skills/
Available Skills #
continuous-mixxx-dj #
Run a continuous live Mixxx set with fixed EQ, volume, scratch, track-selection, pre-roll, and gapless crossfade preferences. Use whenever you ask the agent to start, continue, resume, or manage the mix.
Requires tsirysndr/mixxx — a fork of Mixxx with built-in MCP support. The skill drives the decks, mixer, and library through that MCP server, so it will not work with an upstream Mixxx build.

skills.sh.json only controls how the skills are grouped on the repo's skills.sh page; it does not affect installation.
