12345678⏺ createdAt should be the actual current moment in UTC, formatted as RFC 3339 — e.g. 2026-05-13T19:48:27.301Z. His Shortcut is producing local EDT time with a literal Z, so the value is 4 hours wrong.
Fix on his side, two options: 1. In the Format Date action, set TimeZone to UTC (keep the 'Z' literal pattern) 2. Use XXX instead of 'Z' and let Shortcuts emit the actual offset (-04:00)
We don't need to handle anything on our side. His data is just wrong; the protocol expects accurate timestamps. Push the fix to him.
