How to try my code review TUI before you probably should

Installing and using Thresh #

Check its README to see what I intend it to be.

Note

It's very early, the TUI still in need of deslopping in some places, and some of the CLI incorrect. The TUI should still be pretty discoverable and intuitive. If it's not, that's a bug for me to fix. If you run into bugs, please let me know by sending me a message somewhere or opening an issue: Open an issue

Install with

go install secluded.site/thresh@1634f5bc

Then create a config file like the following at ~/.config/thresh/config.toml.

[identity]
name = 'Amolith'

[review]
# individual for a change by change review
# continuous for a github-style aggregate review
default_change_view = "individual"

[inference]
model = "qwen-3.8-flash"

[inference.responses]
endpoint = "https://hyper.charm.land/v1/responses"
api_key_command = ["op", "read", "op://Noninteractive/hyper api key/password"]

And invoke like

# Git
thresh diff # tracked unstaged changes; excludes untracked files
thresh diff --staged
thresh diff --unstaged
thresh diff HEAD # one commit against its parent
thresh diff main..HEAD # each commit after main, oldest first
thresh diff main...HEAD # each commit from the merge base to HEAD

# Jujutsu
thresh diff # @, unless automatic discovery selects another VCS
thresh diff @
thresh diff 'abc::def' # inclusive linear range, oldest first
thresh diff 'main..@' # changes after main through @

# Mercurial
thresh diff # tracked working-copy changes; excludes unknown files
thresh diff -c tip # one changeset against its first parent
thresh diff --from main --to tip # aggregate comparison between two endpoints

# Multi-change ranges
thresh diff --individual main..HEAD # one change at a time
thresh diff --continuous main..HEAD # combine the range into one continuous diff
