Bundle Monorepository #
Bundle is the leading all in one IDE, TUI and CLI tool for Minecraft Modding.
Features #
Bundle has both a visual based IDE, a full parity CLI and a TUI. It has a very similar model to Packwiz, where each file is a *.bun.json that stores metadata instead of raw jar files or zips.
Some notable features:
IDE Features #
- Visual based workflow in a similar feel to Visual Studio Code
- Launcher functionality (instances, hot reloading)
- Rich, customizable visuals with theming, editable UI, and more
- Custom mod browser with support for Modrinth and CurseForge, along with a unified browser
- Monaco editor
- Type checking for KubeJS scripts and .mcmeta files
- Instance-aware mod browsing (filters applied automatically)
- Collaborative multiplayer in-ide
- Experimental mod, author, organization or disclosure blacklist (configurable via the .bundle folder)
- Mod decompilation in-ide via Vineflower
- Over 70 CLI commands
- Built-in publishing
- Built-in building
- Modrinth, CurseForge, GitHub, Gitea/Codeberg/Forgejo, GitLab and Tangled support
- Mod Pinning
- Pack importing (from .mrpack or .zip)
- Linting for configuration files
- Pack optimization algorithm Packeater, a fork of PackSquash (Can be seen in-use on packs like Reminiscence, where file-size was reduced from 260mb to 114mb!)
- Mod-list generator
- Manifest based pack declaration
- CLI, TUI and GPUI interfaces for interaction
- And many more!

Speed #
Bundle is very fast! Bundle is highly concurrent and asynchronous, being magnitudes faster than the nearest competitor on tasks like exporting a file, or adding a new mod.
Languages #
- Rust
- GPUI
Credits #
This project is heavily derived and inspired by Packwiz by comp500 and others. Bundle started out as a hard-fork of Packwiz prior to being rewritten in Rust.
Packeater derived from Packsquash.

Disclosure #
Bundle was partly assisted by AI tools early in its development. All AI assisted developments are being actively worked on to be rewritten by me.
