AT Protocol Group and Community Standards Working Group #
Working group for interoperable community and group standards in the AT Protocol.
Current status #
The working group is currently in preliminary phase. Before beginning standardization work, this repository is in the process of providing documentation of current and proposed implementations for communities, groups, and attestations in atproto. These documents live in the resources/existing-projects directory, and follow a standard template provided in resources/PROJECT-TEMPLATE.md for easy cross-referencing between projects.
Current projects being considered for documentation include:
- Permissioned Data
- Blacksky
- Stratos
- Leaf
- Open Social
- Habitat
- lore.farm
- rpg.actor
- Composable Trust
- Mezzanine
Contributing #
Any contributions to this repository are encouraged. Current focus is on documentation; the list above, and the documentation itself, are incomplete. If you can contribute any projects not yet covered, refine existing docs, or correct erroneous claims, you're encouraged to be open an issue or PR!
Project authors and maintainers are particularly welcome in reviewing entries about their own work! People working most closely with these projects provide the most valuable feedback for the WG.
To contribute a new project entry, copy resources/existing-projects/PROJECT.md (adjusting the filename to match the actual template path), fill in the sections to the best of your ability following the template's guidance, and open a pull request. To suggest a project for inclusion, open an issue.
For repository-scoped concerns (e.g. wording corrections, missing or incomplete entries, suggestions for new projects, and other repository-bounded matters), please open an issue.
For broader working group direction, such as scope, methodology, evaluation, design, and other discussions that benefit from a wider audience, please use the AT Protocol forum thread for now.
Code of Conduct #
This working group follows the Contributor Covenant. TL;DR: contributors are expected to engage civilly and in good faith, and to extend the same assumption of good faith to others. Concerns about conduct can be raised privately by contacting the working group's coordinators directly.
