npm installer for hlsd — a small, self-contained daemon that takes a raw PCM s16le audio stream and serves it live as HLS (and optionally MPEG-DASH) over HTTP.

Installing this package downloads the prebuilt hlsd binary for your platform from GitHub Releases (sha256 verified) and exposes it as hlsd.

npm install -g @tsiry/hlsd
hlsd --help

or run it without installing:

npx @tsiry/hlsd --help

Supported platforms: macOS (x64/arm64), Linux (x64/arm64), FreeBSD (x64), NetBSD (x64). On other platforms, install hlsd another way.

The package version matches the hlsd release tag it installs. See the main README for usage, configuration, and the macOS virtual audio device.
