Hey friends,

I support in my app all the languages of my family and friends. When we added the notification templates we validated locales not allowing more flexible overrides. This broke my E2E tests in my project. I'd like to add the following languages; German, Brasilian Portuguese, and Tagalog.

I plan to use DeepL since I am not Fluent in all these languages. Posting this here for discussion on the approach. I am working on my forked version, once validated I will issue a PR and in the meantime we can discuss.

Hi! I'm not opposed to deepl/machine-translated locales; though I think a hard requirement is that a native speaker MUST be found to attest that a translation-set is good and not misleading in any of the strings. a thorough once-over.

~~Okay I will be limited in my circle so I will as in the channel if we have native speakers of each.~~ I slept on it and I have friends and family I will ask...idk why but I was nervous to ask but I should be able to get that done.

As a follow up I have asked friends to translate the notifications first. I have all but Tagalog so far I will issue each as their own PR. My husband speaks Spanish so thats done...now onto the front-end localization's. I created a lil toolkit using playwright to show them side-by-side so my friends are not overwhelmed and can markup the changes needed within context. I am using google docs to track each language since my friends and family are not developers, linking the raw tangled asset so they can see each page.
