GStreamer moves from 1.28.2 on the iameli/gstreamer 2026-04-rebase branch to the upstream 1.28.8 tag. That branch's three commits apply cleanly on top and are carried as diff_files, the way moq.wrap carries its patch. 1.28.8's core docs now stop early when gstcheck is disabled, and the plugin modules' docs then fail to find plugins_cache_generator, so shared dev builds enable gstreamer:check. Static builds skip the docs entirely. x264 follows GStreamer main to the 165.3223 meson port; proxy-libintl moves to wrapdb's 0.5.
