Instlang design workspace #

This directory records the design and implementation of the bounded reference interpreter. The source brief is institutional-language-plan.md.

Current status #

The reference core, authored source subset, replay/version machinery, and bounded Scarcity Case analyzer are implemented and tested. The Scarcity Case has moved its procedural successor construction and phase closure into authored law, while the host retains reviewed world/domain validation and integration. A local server and browser client provide a human-playable prototype with private commitments, public reveals, authenticated public actions, persisted matches, and a readable game board. Constitutional proposals, targets, electorates, quorums, and ballots now cross bounded typed artifact envelopes; dynamic definition code remains at the explicit Json boundary.

Formal proof and unbounded model checking remain unclaimed. Further language work should be driven by a concrete mutable policy, while broader game and host work is still exploratory.

The documents use “v1” for the smallest reference language described by institutional-language-plan.md. Names used in host examples are not core keywords.
