- authentication: done from your PDS
- feeds: fetched with app.bsky.feed.getFeedSkeleton from your PDS (which then
queries the feed service host)
- unauthenticated feeds: fetched directly from the feed service host (sometimes failing due to CORS)
- posts: fetched from your pds or slingshot if unauthed
- authors: fetched from slingshot your pds or slingshot if unauthed
- identities: fetched from slingshot
like status: fetched from constellationlike fetching disabled due to being a bandwidth hog- liking & reposting posts: done directly to the PDS
- authors: fetched from slingshot your pds or slingshot if unauthed
- images: uses bsky's cdn servers
- embed thumbnails: same as above
