From c0d06446cddfe45bf38fae6b2ac018893b3a912e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jack Platten Date: Thu, 30 Jul 2026 11:06:03 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] ci: add concurrency group to release-please workflow (#102) Pushes to main can land back to back, including from stacked PR merges landing several layers in quick succession. Without a concurrency group, overlapping pushes could start overlapping release-please runs and race each other. Queue runs instead of racing; don't cancel an in-progress run since it may have already tagged a release. --- .github/workflows/release-please.yml | 7 +++++++ 1 file changed, 7 insertions(+) diff --git a/.github/workflows/release-please.yml b/.github/workflows/release-please.yml index 6d2c1cd..d06c20d 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/release-please.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/release-please.yml @@ -4,6 +4,13 @@ on: push: branches: [main] +concurrency: + group: release-please-${{ github.ref }} + # Queue overlapping runs instead of cancelling: an in-progress run may have + # already tagged a release, and cancelling mid-run could leave that state + # half-applied. + cancel-in-progress: false + permissions: contents: write issues: write -- knotmirror 0.0.1
