Licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 — see LICENSE, copied from LICENSE-FONT in the upstream repo.

The release ships OTF; these are converted to WOFF2 (fontTools, flavor = "woff2") which is the same outlines at ~47KB instead of ~270KB. next/font/local preloads every declared face, so the uncompressed originals would have put half a megabyte in front of first paint.

To update, download the newer release, then:

Only 400 and 700 upright are vendored. Italics exist upstream but nothing here asks for them, and each added face is another preloaded request.
