From 5b446e9363e09fc70689db7652b5930f12ca1a7c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Nicolas DUBIEN Date: Sat, 17 Oct 2026 15:46:37 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] =?UTF-8?q?=F0=9F=91=B7=20Stop=20labels=20from=20triggerin?= =?UTF-8?q?g=20CI=20(#7455)?= MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit ## Description > AI-agent disclosure: this PR was authored by an automated agent (OpenAI Codex) and has not been line-by-line reviewed by a human before submission. Adding an ordinary PR label currently creates another Build Status and Workflow Security Audit run in the same concurrency group. That run cancels the original build, then skips its jobs because the label is not `force-build-status-execution`. This affected Renovate's #7446 and #7429. Remove `labeled` from both workflows and delete the force-label job conditions, including the unused warm-up condition anchor. Builds continue to run on pushes and PR opening, synchronization, and reopening. Manual retries use GitHub Actions' **Re-run all jobs**. Validation: both YAML files parse with aliases resolved; a structural comparison confirms only the label triggers and their job conditions changed. No active force-label references remain under `.github`. Historical release notes are unchanged. The application test suite was not run for this workflow-only change. Release impact: decline — no package release changeset needed. ## Checklist — _Don't delete this checklist and make sure you do the following before opening the PR_ - [ ] I have a full understanding of every line in this PR — whether the code was hand-written, AI-generated (our [AI Policy](https://github.com/dubzzz/fast-check/blob/main/AI_POLICY.md)), copied from external sources or produced by any other tool - [ ] I flagged the impact of my change (minor / patch / major) either by running `pnpm run bump` or by following the instructions from the changeset bot - [ ] I kept this PR focused on a single concern and did not bundle unrelated changes - [ ] I followed the [gitmoji](https://gitmoji.dev/) specification for the name of the PR, including the package scope (e.g. `🐛(vitest) Something...`) when the change targets a package other than `fast-check` - [ ] I added relevant tests and they would have failed without my PR (when applicable) --- .github/workflows/build-status.yml | 5 +---- .github/workflows/zizmor.yml | 3 +-- 2 files changed, 2 insertions(+), 6 deletions(-) diff --git a/.github/workflows/build-status.yml b/.github/workflows/build-status.yml index f1eb2258d..583a8ee49 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/build-status.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/build-status.yml @@ -7,7 +7,7 @@ on: - 'next-*_*_*' - 'fix-v*' pull_request: - types: [opened, synchronize, reopened, labeled] + types: [opened, synchronize, reopened] branches: - main - 'next-*_*_*' @@ -24,7 +24,6 @@ jobs: # Root jobs warmup_pnpm_cache: name: 'Warm up pnpm cache (Linux)' - if: &warmup_condition github.event_name == 'push' || github.event.action == 'opened' || github.event.action == 'synchronize' || github.event.action == 'reopened' || (github.event.action == 'labeled' && github.event.label.name == 'force-build-status-execution') runs-on: ubuntu-latest steps: &warmup_steps - uses: actions/checkout@3d3c42e5aac5ba805825da76410c181273ba90b1 # v7.0.1 @@ -43,12 +42,10 @@ jobs: run: pnpm install --frozen-lockfile --ignore-scripts warmup_pnpm_cache_macos: name: 'Warm up pnpm cache (macOS)' - if: *warmup_condition runs-on: macos-latest steps: *warmup_steps warmup_pnpm_cache_windows: name: 'Warm up pnpm cache (Windows)' - if: *warmup_condition runs-on: windows-latest steps: *warmup_steps diff --git a/.github/workflows/zizmor.yml b/.github/workflows/zizmor.yml index 06d1c7a4d..0ad231156 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/zizmor.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/zizmor.yml @@ -2,7 +2,7 @@ name: Workflow Security Audit on: pull_request: - types: [opened, synchronize, reopened, labeled] + types: [opened, synchronize, reopened] branches: - main - 'next-*_*_*' @@ -22,7 +22,6 @@ permissions: {} jobs: audit: name: 'Audit GitHub Actions workflows' - if: github.event_name == 'push' || github.event.action == 'opened' || github.event.action == 'synchronize' || github.event.action == 'reopened' || (github.event.action == 'labeled' && github.event.label.name == 'force-build-status-execution') runs-on: ubuntu-latest permissions: security-events: write -- knotmirror 0.0.1
