The web app lets you use wed with an AT Protocol.

• All events created there are stored as fyi.wed.event records on your PDS
• You can create, edit and delete fyi.wed.event records on the web app
• You can view forecast for existing community.lexicon.calendar.event (but you cannot create/edit/delete them)

Share an event publicly #

Each event has a share button that copies a public link: https://wed.fyi/#shared/<DID>/fyi.wed.event/<RKEY> or https://wed.fyi/#shared/<DID>/community.lexicon.calendar.event/<RKEY>

• Anyone with the link can see that event's forecast and meteogram — no sign-in required
• Works for both fyi.wed.event and community.lexicon.calendar.event
• You can use this URL even without having logged in ever to wed.fyi

Copy the meteogram as an image #

Each event card has a copy button that renders the hourly forecast as a PNG and copies it to your clipboard, ready to paste anywhere.

Self-hosting #

The web app is a static site built with Trunk:

$ cd spa
$ trunk build --release

Set APP_URL, BACKEND_URL and ACCOUNT_DID at build time to point to your own backend (see spa/Dockerfile for reference). The output in dist/ can be served by any static file server.
