A manual option in the toolbar sort dropdown orders blocks by a stored id list keyed by the query's sorted tag set (localStorage, the same mechanism as the editor layout prefs). Shift+j / Shift+k move the selected block down and up while manual order is active. Items missing from the stored list, such as a newly added one, come first; stored ids that match no item are dropped on the next move. Selection and folds follow the moved block by id, and switching to another sort and back keeps the stored order.
