AGENTS.md #

This is the dotagents repo. It holds shared skills, helpers, and instructions for my agentic tools.

• INSTRUCTIONS.md holds the actual AGENTS.md content that is symlinked into tool configs.
• skills/ holds the skill library. Each skill is a directory with a SKILL.md.
• helpers/ holds small scripts and utilities shared by agents.
• README.md explains the repo for people.
• PERSONAL.md, when present, holds private instructions. Do not commit it.

Install #

If the user asks to install dotagents, ask which agentic tools to set up first.

Default setup:

1. Link the repo pieces into ~/.agents.
2. Link from ~/.agents into each tool's config when needed. For example, ~/.agents/skills to ~/.claude/skills, or ~/.agents/AGENTS.md to ~/.config/opencode/AGENTS.md.

If a destination file or symlink already exists, stop and ask the user what to do. Never overwrite it.

Tools read the repo through symlinks in their config directories:

Edit files in the repo, not in the link targets. Links point one way.
